Shane and Shelbi's | Sechelt Wedding

I was so excited to shoot Shane & Shelbi’s Sechelt wedding! Both of their wonderful families have deep roots on the Coast and I’ve known most of the guests for years. Its like shooting a big reunion for me! I hoped no one noticed me crying all the time! So many moments that were heartfelt and filled with love!

And lets talk about the crazy summer weather!! It had been rather unsettled for the few days leading up to the wedding. I love that Shelbi and Shane were down for sun/rain/whatever the coast had to throw at them! And the start of the day was wet, rainy and storming out. By the time we headed to the beach for a first look, the weather was perfect! A nice breeze, low tides, amazing clouds and color, sigh, the DREAMIEST conditions ever for a Sechelt BC wedding!

Wakefield Beach was a perfect location for Shane & Shelbi’s Sechelt Wedding photos!

Shane & Shelbi’s Sechelt wedding was at her aunt’s gorgeous water view home in West Sechelt. Just a walk across the street to historic Wakefield beach, where the old Wakefield Pub used to be! So we were easy steps away to one of the best beaches around! There is a cute creek that attracts the Canadian Geese, and at low tide, it is very level giving us a great place to do photos with the bridesmaids and groomsmen!

And every wedding detail was perfect, from the beautiful blue bridesmaids dresses to the brightly coloured sunflowers that Shelbi loves! And Lucky’s Smoke House sure prepared an amazing meal for the guests!
