A Bali Wedding! What could be a more beautiful location for a vow renewal ceremony than one of the most sought-after destination locations on the planet?
The added bonus for all of us, especially Kelly and Leif, was that they were able to renew their vows in a ridiculously picturesque. And all of that with a dozen or so cameras pointed at them. Of course, they didn’t seem to mind and it was magical to be able to shoot their love while also learning from the incomparable Erika and Lanny Mann of Two Mann Studios. What a rush!
Kelly, a fellow wedding photographer from Iowa, and her husband Leif, had actually been married five years prior to the Bali trip, but hadn’t splurged on a wedding with all the trimmings because of money constraints. However, fast forward five years when Two Mann Studios decided to put on one of their famous Metanoia Workshops in gorgeous Canguu, Bali and Kelly signed up as quickly as I did.
Not only was the venue and landscape amazing to shoot in (Hello! We were in BALI!), but Kelly and Leif were so easy going in front of all of our cameras. They are still so obviously in love after five years of marriage. They made it easy for all of us. I can’t wait to shoot some more destination weddings in other countries.
